Believe it or not, 2017 is almost over and it’s been an exciting year. Here are some highlights:
- We published Burt Award winning title, The Protectors’ Pledge and the Burt Award Short-listed title, Barberry Hill.
- We published our second activity book, a new play by David Edgecombe, and new books by author Opal Palmer Adisa and Joanne C. Hillhouse.
- We partnered with Children of the Caribbean Foundation to produce The Complete Collection of Chee Chee’s Adventures, proceeds from which will be donated to the foundation.
- Seven of our books were included in the OECS Early Learning Programme.
- The Plant-A-Seed-To-Read project was implemented at Sandy Point Elementary School.
- Author Danielle Y. C. McClean took part in the ReadWithMe Tour in Trinidad November, 2017.
We are already gearing up for next year with the publication of several new picture books and a large project we hope to launch, so stay tuned!
