We are so excited about the books we have on the horizon for 2021 and 2022. They are all in various stages of development and the anticipation on this end is high. We have six books on the horizon, three that I can tell you about and three that are so new that we will keep them to ourselves for just a little longer.
- The Whisperer’s Warning: Book 2 in the Secrets of Oscuros series by Danielle Y. C. McClean. Danielle’s first children’s book, The Protector’s Pledge was one of the winners of the 2016 Burt Award for Caribbean Literature, and The Whisperer’s Warning will not disappoint fans who have been longing to find out what happens to JV after his first adventure in the Oscuros forest.

- Juleus Ghunta is also not a stranger to CaribbeanReads. His second children’s book, Rohan Bullkin and the Shadows, will be published later this year. Following in the footsteps of Tata and the Bid Bad Bull which tackles topics of poverty and bullying through an approachable characters, this new book follows Rohan on a path towards recovery from the adverse childhood experiences (ACES) that have plagued him and provides som guidance for those who are suffering and who may want to help children in difficult situations.

- Making her CaribbeanReads’ debut is Vanessa Webbe with her children’s book, Lisa Goes to Market. Vanessa has a few publications under her belt including How About Poetry for Dessert which is available on Amazon.

As we mentioned, we have a few more projects in the pipeline, including some non-fiction work, but we will release that information a little later this year, so stay tuned.
